Local Love: Spotlight on Chêne Blanc
A Gift & Home Décor Gem in the Heart of Cambridge Square
At Jenness Interiors, we are passionate about supporting local talent, especially when it comes to home design and thoughtfully curated living spaces. One of our favorite local spots that has completely captured our hearts is Chêne Blanc, a stunning gift and home décor store located in Cambridge Square in Collegedale, TN.
Owned and operated by the incredibly warm and creative Hallie DeHart, Chêne Blanc is a place that instantly feels like home the moment you walk through its beautiful vintage double doors. Hallie, a Memphis native and proud University of Tennessee at Chattanooga alumna, now lives in Ooltewah with her husband Tanner. With a background in brand development and marketing, and a deep love for meaningful gifts, Hallie envisioned a space where she could bring her favorite finds to her community—and Chêne Blanc was born in 2022.
The store’s name, which means “White Oak” in French, is a nod to timeless elegance and Southern charm—two things you’ll find in abundance at Chêne Blanc. Hallie’s eye for detail and her passion for creating a personalized shopping experience are truly the heart and soul of this boutique. Whether you're shopping for a housewarming gift, building a wedding registry, or looking for a unique piece to refresh your home, there's something special waiting for you at Chêne Blanc.
We at Jenness Interiors had the honor of meeting Hallie, and it’s clear this store is a labor of love. Her dedication, warmth, and talent are woven into every shelf, candle, frame, and decorative detail. The atmosphere she’s created is welcoming, inspiring, and full of charm—you really can't leave empty-handed!
So, next time you’re in the area, we encourage you to stop by Chêne Blanc. Say hello to Hallie, support a local small business, and discover a place where gift-giving and home styling become joyful and meaningful. Building relationships with our local makers and shop owners adds so much fulfillment to the design journey—and life in general.
Let’s continue to shop local, build community, and celebrate the creatives right here in our own backyard.
